Please join John Collins for his next Town Hall with State Senator Norm Needleman, Co-Chair of the Energy and Technology Committee and one of the authors of a proposed bill which is known as “Take Back Our Grid.”

Some of the key provisions are:
– Tying executive compensation at Eversource to performance targets, and limiting that compensation to a middle range of similar companies in New England and the Mid-Atlantic region.
– Instructing PURA, the regulatory agency, to seek an interim rate decrease.
– Establishing a series of payments to customers for prolonged power outages, including reimbursement for spoiled medicine and food
– Requiring an independent Consumer Advocate, chosen by our Office of Consumer Counsel, to be placed on the Board of Eversource.
