Still No Opinion From Tom Foley

(Hartford, Connecticut) Today, the Connecticut Democratic Party released a statement from Chairwoman Nancy DiNardo on candidate Tom Foley’s refusal to give an opinion on S.B. 1160 which is currently being debated in the Connecticut General Assembly:

“Last week Tom Foley went to the state Capitol and called the legislators a bunch of ‘hens.’ Today those ‘hens’ are casting votes, and Governor Malloy has said he’ll sign the bill. Tom Foley, the man who would like to be Governor? Silence. Tom, what are you afraid of? You seemed sure of yourself last week when you were calling the ‘hens’ out.

Now that the ‘hens’ are actually casting votes, as the entire nation watches, you have nothing to say? Would you sign the bill or not?”
