Ayotte Takes a Stand; Foley Still Silent

(Hartford, Connecticut) — 75 days have passed since Governor Malloy proposed common sense gun control measures, and 33 days have passed since legislators from both parties voted yes or no on the bill.  Still, Republican candidate for Governor Tom Foley won’t say whether or not he’d have signed the bill Gov. Malloy signed into law.

Today the Connecticut Democratic Party released the following statement from Chairwoman Nancy DiNardo:
“Senator Ayotte of New Hampshire may be on the wrong side of the issue, but at least she has the guts to take a position and defend it.  Not something Tom Foley appears capable of doing.  How long will the voters of Connecticut have to wait for Tom Foley to take a position on this issue?”
