Hartford, CT – After the Democratic Party selected its candidates last night in a unified fashion, the Republicans are set to select their Gubernatorial nominee today. The Democratic Party is unified, with a clear record of delivering for working families, women, and our schools.

“Amidst the chaos among the Republicans, it may be hard to handicap who the gubernatorial nominee will be. But one thing is certain – the candidates think their pandering to the NRA and ridiculous promises for billions in tax-cuts without spending cuts will help them hit the jackpot in November. Think again,” said Devon Puglia, spokesman for the Connecticut Democratic Party.

“The Republican candidates know they’re making promises they can never keep. They’re trying to package up all of their laughable distortions and call it ‘change’. This theater is just that – theater – and it’s wrong for this state.”
