“We are a small state with a small congressional delegation, but, in the age of Trump, Connecticut Democrats will have an outsized influence. As Republicans in Congress aim to take health care from millions of Americans, Democrats will fight for quality, affordable coverage for all. As Republicans try to roll back environmental protections, Democrats will fight for clean air and water for our children and families. And as Republicans actively undermine ethical standards, Democrats will fight for honesty and transparency in government.

“I want to congratulate our entire congressional delegation – Congressman Larson, Congressman Courtney, Congresswoman DeLauro, Congressman Himes, and Congresswoman Esty – on their swearing in.
