“This vote tells you everything you need to know about the Republican Party. Without even knowing what’s in it, the House GOP passed a bill that could strip health coverage from over 20 million people and eliminate protections for people with pre-existing conditions. In short, this legislation will eliminate access to care for working and middle-class families just to give another massive tax cut to the wealthiest individuals and corporations. This bill is a disgrace, and make no mistake: Republicans will be measured by the passage of this bill, up and down the ticket in 2018.”
