“The Connecticut Democratic Party condemns the hateful, antisemitic comments made by State Rep. Anabel Figueroa of Stamford about her primary opponent. This isn’t the first time she has made hateful comments. The pattern is disturbing, and has no place in political discourse. 

“Anabel Figueroa’s resignation from the Stamford Board of Representatives was the right thing to do. The voters of Stamford have also sent a strong message this week that they no longer want Figueroa to represent them in the state legislature. The Democratic State Party will support the Stamford Democratic City Committee in whatever further action they take to hold her accountable.”
