The Connecticut Democratic Party issued the following statement in response to State Sen. Ryan Fazio’s first TV campaign ad:

“Ryan Fazio’s GOP primary ad resembles a used car commercial more than a serious pitch to govern this state,” said CT Dems spokesperson Ian Clarke. “Feeding red meat to your base and standing near billboards is easy; actually delivering for Connecticut families is harder. While Fazio focuses on theater, Governor Lamont and CT Dems have achieved real results through historic income tax cuts, tax relief for seniors, and robust budget surpluses – all while strengthening public safety and protecting our values right here in Connecticut.”
