It’s A Clear Yes Or No Question, Mr. Foley

(Hartford, Connecticut) –  Tom Foley, Republican candidate for Governor, is still refusing to say whether or not he would have signed the gun violence  prevention and children’s safety bill that Governor Malloy signed into law.

Today, the Connecticut Democratic Party released the following statement from Chairwoman Nancy DiNardo, addressing candidate Foley’s inability (refusal?) to tell the people of Connecticut if he would have signed the same bill Governor Malloy signed or not:

“Would you have signed the bill Gov. Malloy signed into law?  Yes or no?  No more dancing, no more equivocating, and don’t tell us that bill wouldn’t have gotten to your desk.  Please, just answer the question.  The people you say you want to serve deserve a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’.”
