Hartford, CT – Today, Connecticut Democratic Party Chairwoman Nancy DiNardo released the following statement in response to Senate President Williams’ announcement that he will not seek reelection:

 “I want to thank Senate President Williams for his service to Connecticut, his leadership and his friendship. Senator Williams has been a constant fighter for access to quality education and economic development throughout our state. While his presence will be greatly missed in the state capitol and on the campaign trail, I know that whatever he does next will have a great impact. The Connecticut Democratic Party wishes Senator Williams the best of luck in his future endeavors.”
