Bhargava Statement On Camillo’s Work To Encourage Businesses To Move Out Of State
Hartford, Ct. – Connecticut Democratic Party Vice Chairwoman Dita Bhargava, who ran against State Rep. Fred Camillo in 2016, released the following statement on Camillo’s decision to attend Florida Gov. Rick Scott’s event aimed a poaching Connecticut businesses.
“I ran against Fred Camillo to help make our community a stronger, more vibrant place, and the idea that he — or any other elected official — would sell out his constituents and actively work to send jobs out of state is appalling. The people of Greenwich deserveĀ a representative who will fight to bring jobs to Connecticut, not someone who works with out of state governors to entice businesses to leave.”
