TODAY: In #MeToo Age, Leaders Across the State To Speak Out Against New Betsy DeVos School Sexual Misconduct Policy

Hartford, CT – Yesterday, it was reported that U.S. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos is planning new rules on college campuses nationwide — and affecting schools across Connecticut — that would change the definition of sexual harassment at universities, further protect those accused of sexual abuse and misconduct, and create hurdles for survivors of abuse to prove their cases.

The top of the state GOP ticket in Connecticut opposes laws like “yes means yes,” which was passed nearly unanimously in 2015.

Today, Democratic women are joining together to speak out for right over wrong.
