Please make sure you VOTE on Tuesday, November 5.
Democrats on Row A have the values we need to move Connecticut and the country forward. Voting at UConn is quick and easy.
If you live on or around campus, you vote at the Mansfield Community Center & Town Hall, 10 S. Eagleville Road, which is near The Oaks, E.O. Smith High School, Price Chopper, and Haven Hot Chicken.
The polls open at 6am and close at 8pm. You MUST be in line by 8pm to vote. If you live at UConn, you can vote on Election Day even if you aren’t registered to vote yet or are registered in your hometown. The early voting location at the UConn Bookstore is not open on Election Day.
You may only vote on Election Day if you have not already voted, including early voting or by absentee ballot at your home address. It is a crime to vote more than once, even if you do it by mistake.
HOW TO GET TO THE POLLING PLACE TO VOTE:
- Ride in Style: Between 10am and 8pm, coach buses will be stopping in front of the UConn Bookstore/Rec Center (across from Gampel) and bringing people directly to vote and back.
- Take UConn Buses: The Red and Silver lines stop in front of Price Chopper. The Community Center and Town Hall directly across Storrs Rd/Route 195. The Yellow and Orange lines stop at Storrs Downtown and you can walk to the polls from there in a couple minutes.
- Walk or Bike: From Downtown Storrs/The Oaks, the polls are across Storrs Rd/Route 195 directly next to E.O. Smith High School.
- Drive: The polls are under 10 minutes by car from anywhere on campus and there is plenty of free parking. Bring friends!

- You may be asked to provide proof of address on campus, and you may be required to fill out a form at the polls. Your housing agreement, which you can pull up on your phone (see below), is a great way to prove your dorm address if you don’t have a piece of mail.

- The online system requires a Connecticut DMV ID, but if you don’t have one or are from another state, you WILL be able to register and vote at Town Hall.
- In the online system, if you live on campus, please put “1 University of Ct” as your VOTING ADDRESS and put your dorm address as your MAILING ADDRESS.
- You will be asked for proof of address, and as above, your fee bill or housing agreement will suffice. See below for instructions.
- If you have any questions, call or text 860-288-2182.
IF YOU LIVE OFF-CAMPUS:
- If you live within walking distance of campus, you vote at the same location as if you lived on campus, the Mansfield Community Center.
