CT Dems Announce Full DNC Delegate List
Hartford, Ct. – The Democratic State Central Committee last night approved the final nineteen delegates (twelve at-large and seven pledged party leaders and elected officials) and five alternates to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. On May 31 Connecticut’s 36 district-level delegates were selected at caucuses throughout the state.
“I am proud that Democrats came together – both at district-level caucuses and at the State Central Committee – with civility and in a spirit of unity to select a delegation that reflects the diversity of our party and our state,” said Connecticut Democratic Party Chairman Nick Balletto. “I am confident that Connecticut delegates will come together in Philadelphia behind our shared goal of electing a Democratic president and rejecting Donald Trump’s hatred, racism, and division.”
